SMS Terms of Service

The Drive Path Guide SMS program delivers transactional and educational text messages related to auto insurance informational content that you have explicitly requested, including delivery of The Ultimate A-Z Plain English Auto Insurance Dictionary, confirmations, and (if separately opted in) educational and promotional updates about new content. We do not use SMS to quote, sell, broker, or refer you to any insurance carrier or agent.

To enroll, complete the form on our Subscribe page and check the SMS consent option(s) you want. Each SMS category requires a separate, unchecked-by-default consent. Submitting your phone number alone does not opt you in. Consent is never a condition of receiving any free guide or content.

Transactional message frequency varies based on activity. Promotional message frequency is up to 4 messages per month. Msg and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further marketing or transactional messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

Our SMS program is compatible with major U.S. mobile carriers including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Cricket Wireless, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent data, will not be shared, sold, or transferred to any insurance carrier, insurance agent, insurance broker, lead aggregator, or third-party marketer. SMS opt-in data is used solely to operate this SMS program. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

The first SMS you receive after opting in will identify Drive Path Guide, describe the content of the messages, state the message frequency, include "Msg and data rates may apply," confirm you can reply STOP to cancel, and confirm that Drive Path Guide is not an insurance company or agent.

We may update these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
